Well. It would appear my brother is going through with it! He’s gonna see how far he can pull the “little red sled”
He called me this morning and I went up and hovered about while he changed the oil. then he tightened up the steering box. Then on top of that, he got on the passenger side, and I got in the driver’s side (Remember i’m a blind fellow), and I drove us down the road. *weeeee!* He did the steering part, of course.
“Give it some gas.”
“Slow down a little.”
“Not that much.”
Supposedly I’m supposed to get to ride in the truck when he pulls. Should be a blass, though we expecting rain. Just so readers know, that weren’t no typo. I talk like that. he was even asking if it’d be possible for me to be the driver when he pulled, him steering of course. No can do, I haven’t got no license. Not yet. Laugh, it was supposed to be funny. I intend to take my olympus ds30 recorder along, use the internal mono microphone, put it on low microphone attenuation. Should get good results, the truck is a little on the loud side though not too bad. I can just shove it into my pocket and enjoy the fun and have the recording to re-live the tragety. I was just saying to someone, You know we’re West Virginians. We ain’t got nuffin better a do an see who can pull a big sled the farthest with our trucks. 🙂
